Dr. Yun Li (李云)
Professor of Chemistry, Group Leader
Yun Li completed his undergraduate studies at Sichuan University in 2004. He pursued in Ph. D. studies under the supervision of Prof. Yikang Wu at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC) where he worked on the synthesis of antimalarial peroxy bond containing natural products (Artemisinin, Plakoric acids) and their analogs. After completing his doctorate in 2009, Yun spent 3 years (2009-2012) as a postdoctoral researcher at Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research (NIBR) where he involved in early-stage drug discovery project. In July 2012, he accepted a position as Associate Professor at Lanzhou University. In December 2019, he was promoted to full professor of chemistry.
